Description
Offshore Legal have been tasked with sourcing top level senior candidates to interview for an important new hire for a major offshore firm in the British Virgin Islands. You will join a thriving litigation practice, working on some of the most complex and interesting work that the BVI has to offer.
The successful candidate will be a UK admitted Senior Barrister or Solicitor, ideally with direct or indirect offshore experience. Hence, Partners or Partner designates/Counsel currently based in the BVI, Cayman, Bermuda, Channel Islands and/or Hong Kong are of strong interest, as are those with previous experience in the region. Top tier Barristers coming straight from the UK Bar are also most strongly encouraged to apply.
Starting salary will be top of market and hence HUGELY attractive, increasing substantially year on year. Income tax paid by the employee in the BVI is just 8% and the cost of living is below that of Cayman/Bermuda.
